I remember watching this movie as a kid and thinking - this is so strange - is this even a movie. The amazing thing is that I ended up watching it everyday for months - just something about it.....plus that chick was certainly hot.

@vulcarr Well, today he's just typical media celebrity tabloid fodder,.. THAT began after TopGun ( a movie I've always hated myself ). But some of his early flicks weren't bad. I like this flick and Risky Business too.

Early Ridley Scott effort. Imaginative and worth seeing. Tim Curry as Darkness steals it. Fantasy, not Sci-Fi.

I'm sorry but this movie looks incredibly stupid.
Not only does it have Tom cruise in it( who is in fact, a terrible actor and a serious dumbass) but the plot is also terrible and it is terrible quality for it's time
