Ah, my apologies for stating the obvious then. And indeed, they do sound alike, in instrumentation and arrangement.

It still feels pretty weird to me hearing Mr. Yamanishi doing doing a dance tune here while his Thunder Force IV work was mainly guitar inspired. Oh well, it's surprisingly catchy, is what I can say.
