World AIDS Day - Young and alone -- http://www.redcross.org.uk/worldaidsday

Many young people with HIV don't feel they can speak to anyone about their status -- but having just one safe and supportive relationship could make all the difference to their lives.
If someone close to you was diagnosed with HIV, could you be there for them?

  • I really don't understand why people have such issues with AIDs. Judgement is the last thing those poor people need.

  • there is a lot of prejudice surrounding aids, but it's about time we raised awareness about it. Yes people should be careful with what they practice but i bet we've all been in situations where we could have contracted it without knowing.

    Scary isn't it?

  • there for the grace of God go I

  • Perhaps HIV/Aids should be a subject for GCSE. which would include sociology, politics, geography, outreach volunteering as well as awareness/prevention and the science of the disease. That way our youth would be involved, informed, empowered, as well as gaining what should be the 4th most important subject taught in schools.

  • I lost 15+ people due to AIDS in the 80's and have seen almost every end result version and wouldn't wish it to my worst enemy. A terrible time!

The best one can do is have compassion for those that are suffering. 'Judge not, lest ye be judged'

Richard, Lynn, Jonathan, John, Gary, Fred, 'Mortie', Bill, and all the others....I know you're in a better place. Bless all of you!

  • Steven fry sent me.

  • makes sense

  • Powerful stuff. Scary times.

  • Everybody should have somebody to turn to at the worst moments of their lives

  • It's time to put a stop to the social stigmas associated with AIDS and start supporting each other
