This is the first roadster to go 300mph at Bonneville. Uses a detuned Top Fuel engine, somewhere around 4500hp.
This is a week before the 300+mph record was broken. I was using the engine dyno at ProMachine in Chico, CA when I captured this on video. This is the place where we prepare for Engine Masters Challenge (which we are doing again this year)
I didn't have anything to do ith this car, other than being a huge fan of the guys who build, tune and drive it.
A lot of talent goes into making this engine live for 3 miles of Wide Open Throttle - very few people can pull this off. Very, very impressive.
Thanks to John Beck, Donny Cummins and the rest of the ProMachine/Vintage Hotrods crew.
hoping someone got a video of the 2 record runs, that would be nice to see.

Pour a little bit of that Boom Boom Juice in a 50 gallon drum, set it on its side and lite the little opening and hang on!Your gonna go for a ride! But be careful or just stick with the car because nobody has got anything in this town for that. Wicked car man nice!

I wonder how much that engine costs.
