hey goof ball. in the 80's there were 50+ private media companies. currently there are 4 to 5 major companies controlling the media. it's dwindling down to a media monopoly. that means the federal government can have a very easy time allowing what they want and what they don't want being aired to the american public..sure, the CEO's are in charge of these companies, but don't think for a second that they aren't influenced to do what the federal government wants them to do.
