Hey there, nice slideshow on the Maria Hertogh riots. But I can honestly say your views are totally one-sided and prejudiced. Clearly your stance is in favour of the Hertogh family over Aminah. I suggest you go to the library and read up more on the story. Clearly we all know that Maria wasn't willing to go baaack to the Hertogh family as she was brought up a true blue Malay Muslim, though her ethnicity is of Dutch descent.

@banzaikoku Don't critisize Islams even though you don't like Muslims. If you don't have anything nice to say, DON'T SAY IT. Just a little fact: Aminah could have just dumped Maria, you know, but she took care of her and everything, she loved her. So personally, I don't think she's evil. Just saying. AND Aminah didn't know anything about how Catholics lived, so there was no way she oculd have taught her the way of Christians. So...yeah.

@azmosa You're the one who should read more. Adeline Hertogh didn't give away her daughter... Aminah's family moved to Jakarta so that she couldn't be found by Adeline. That's plenty proof of guilty conscience.

Thank goodness Maria was not a legal muslim or married a muslim man... imagine she would became 1 of his 4 wives... with no right's.

That malay woman should be put to death. She was the main cause for all trouble. She was not the legal parents of Maria and therefore had no right to bring up a child to follow her ways. Such woman is evil and self centered, misusing the name of god to achieve her aims.
