Perhaps the 4-4-0 originally came from a set of plans and castings? Little Engines? Allen American? Railroad Supply? If so plans and parts should be available. You might post some pictures to Chaski home machinist, live steam forum, and see if anyone can help identify it. The Chloe is a set of plans plus rough castings from Allen Models A.K.A. Gene Allen in Goleta, CA. You machine all the parts yourself.

Also check out Charlie Dockstader's valve gear program, can't put links in youtube comments, but search for 'charlie dockstader valve gear' and go to the Bitter Creek Western link. you can download the program there and it has every kind of valve gear simulated, you can start and stop and change all the parameters, etc.
