  • That last riff didnt sound too bad to me. These quickie lessons leave too many unanswered questions. Not very helpful. Assumption based on your video: All powerchords are plays on the 2 upper strings.

  • @journeyquest1 Assumption based on your comment: you don't look too deeply into things do you?

As for the quickie lessons- anything past two minutes and I lose the attention span- people are busy!

  • hey man i have a question if u dont mind me asking. When playing a power cord should i use my ring and pinki fingers or is it fine just to use my ring on both strings. hope thats not to confusing lol.

  • its up to you really- whatever is more comfy- i like to use both fingers, but thats just my preference

  • @bobsagetpavillion2 the legend of power chords O.o

  • 0:05 cause ur rich doesn't mean u have to brag about it lol

  • @Richmanofaction what ibanez RG is that?

  • use them well,

learn your scales...so it doesnt sound like shit! lmao! that was great!

  • @navylaks2 it's all in the muting. you've got a VERY GOOD POINT. it is something that takes maybe a half year to completely master. knowing how to mute while doing rhythms and leads is very important.

i can't fit the muting techniques into one comment so i'll message you with the methods my guitar teacher's taught me, and some stuff i've just learned myself.

  • i never add the octave to my power chords.
