Late bucket plantings due to excessive rainfall drowning out my normal pepper garden. Currently growing Bhut Jolokia, Chocolate Habanero, White Habanero, Mustard Habanero, Red Savina Habanero, Cayenne, Fresno, Fatali, Jalapeno, and Tabasco. Enjoy.

  • Yes, I agree with the amount they grow in the ground.... "if I can stay in control of the weeds and mostly the bugs". Cucumber beetles don't eat the peppers, but do eat on the stem of the pepper which kills it early. The pots allow me to control moisture, easier to reach fruit, can separate if one gets sick, no weeds, and fewer insects.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • I plan on growing many hot peppers this year, including bhuts jolokia, fatali, habanero, etc. Could you tell me what type of potting mix & fertilizer is recommended? Thank You!

  • Awesome collection, so many plants! The weather in your area sure must threat the plants better than here, like two days with no rain in a month. Insanely wet summer!

  • They usually produce more whenever I plant them in the ground, and grow bigger.

  • Hi so do you thinck planting hot peppers in container is much better than in the ground?
