Hi great vid,the answer to the question about turning electronic things off is because some time they can be shown as a storm cloud on ray radar.its mostly about the ray radar and how it picks signals up around it.A bit like how a radio works in a car.

I Think it mihgt of been where the filmer may have moved his finger over the microphone. doesnt sound like the gear tetracting.

It sounds like the Landing gear doors closing just after the landing gear was retracted ?? may be wrong, but thats my guess of what it is lol. Ive never heard that noise whilst on a 757

nice, do you know why they tell you to turn all electronics off on takeoff because i got told to turn my camera off and i didnt get to record

It is claimed that some electronic equipment may interfere with aircraft controls, but rather than being specific the crew just ask for all to be turned off. Also, I suspect it is down to the airline as I filmed in view of all and was never asked to turn it off.
