  • I really like it...It's always fun to add some variety to classes and a true pilates practioner is able to apply pilates principles regardless of what exercise they are doing...functional fitness on and off your mat-and while on the reformer or swimming in the pool. I believe old Joseph would applaud your creativity. Go Larry.

  • Purists are all the same... you cannot copyright human movement!! I applaud Larry's creativity and consider it nothing more than evolution. Quit taking yourselves so seriously...

BTW, have you actually seen Joseph Pliates' videos? He did some very dangerous movements that no one would dream of applying today.

  • Looks interesting; I'm going to give it a try. From what I've read about J. Pilates he was an inventor/creator and if he had lived longer would have probably created new and changing exercises as part of his contrology.

  • @knowyourrigths : I agree. Could be a good exercise, using the reformer as a piece of gym equipment, but it is not contrology

  • Great video Larry. Thanks for sharing.

  • NOT CONTROLOGY ...

this is a variant and nothing else but that ,

this is not 'Pilates' since he never created such excercise.

    A Pilates teacher.
