After the commercial aired, an urban legend began to spread that Little Mikey had died after eating an unexpectedly lethal combination of Pop Rocks (candy that snaps and crackles in your mouth) and soda. Apparently, they caused a build-up of gas inside him that made him explode.

Even back then, as a tyke, I thought, "Why does the other kid say, 'He won't need it...He hates everything"...Doesn't he mean 'He won't eat it'?'

I remember the Fisher Price Family Farm and the red barn that came with it. I never had my own, but they had one at the public library in the town where I grew up. Oh the memories!
