Premonition: The Hardest Part

Let me just say that I love this movie despite what the critics said. I'll be the first to admist that there were flaws in the script, but the simple fact that it stars Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon makes it awesome. This vid is set to 'The Hardest Part' by Coldplay (Coldplay is love) and it's about Linda struggling with Jim's death and the realization that she might no be able to save him.

I chose this song because in the end, the hardest part for her was figuring out that she couldn't stop him from dying and she had to let go and just let it happen. She keeps trying and trying to help him but it doesn't work and she slowly realizes that , but despite it all she could find a silver lining (she was able to reconnect with Jim right before his death and reconcile and she has another child of his to love). That was my main idea behind using it.

the reson the guy died was because of her she tried to change what happened but thats what got him killed in the end when he got hit by the truck it was because of her stopping him. if she didnt do anything that wouldnt have happened

Having just watched The Premonition followed by your posting of Cold Play's 'The Hardest Part', I couldn't help but notice how much attention you've paid to both movie and song by synchronising the two together. You obviously have a real talent. I look forward to seeing more of your work!!!

i just watched this film on dvd yesterday and i absolutely loved it. i cried so much in this one (i guess it's also the fact that julian died in it?). but i prefer to think the alternate ending means the scriptwriter meant for jim to live, although how we would have managed that, i have no idea.but i'd like to think that as the priest also gave an example of a premonition that didn't happen (the one where the father dreamt his children dead),it must have meant linda's didn't happen, too.
