This video contains a walk through of the interface of the Zune HD when hooked up to a TV. It's hooked up to the HD(720p) video output dock that's sold seperatly, unfortunately . This video was made by the guys at Gizmodo, so give them credit.

  • Does the ZuneHD support 6ch audio output on HD videos?

  • @diego429 you mean dolby digital 6.1 surround sound? if so, no, it doesn't support it.

  • how do you connect it to the tv?

  • You have to buy a separate dock, which you plug the HDMI cable into your HD tv.

  • I just got the ZUne HD it's Awsome !

  • People are forgetting that you can hook the zune up to the x-box 360, i think this is the reason i might get one. I just hope ill be able to use netflix and download movies to my zune, or tv shows, or play music from the zune while i play a game.

  • @hotterth4nhell More than music my freind, apps, movies, pictures, ect!

  • @Neutral666

It also uses avi (xvid) codec now

  • i can only find movies on zune no tv shows

  • the dock is way too expensive,it should have gone down by now

  • Mos Def, Rakim, Beto Cuevas, you my friend are an awesome motherfucker

  • ZUNE OVER IPOD !!!! im fucken getting sick of apple stuff like seriously come out with better names. get the zune if you're a die hard music person!! :D

  • @Neutral666 um... I just use the real player converter, just so long as you don't do h.264 encoding, it's free, and has a setting for zunes (yes, I know it's mp4, but it also converts it to the right small resolution so you don't have a giant mp4 to play on a teeny tiny zune screen, unless it's in HD, then you can just convert it to plain old mp4)

  • It looks like crap on a 1080p. Just so you know.

  • Can you connect it to a good old analog TV using RCA cables?

  • @david2032blogs how dyou know that ? Since when ? Is there a hardware update that changes this ?
