Forging a tanto from forge-welding the billet of tamahagane with the press to forge-welding by hand. Followed by making a bar of steel and finally hand-forging the blade.

  • @frozenwalkway Sure but as I recall I was welding and squaring the bar more than trying to draw it out.

  • would using spreader dies on the press make it spread quicker ?
