READ THIS!!!!
He jumped into his cat tree and poked his head out of the hole, where you see his face. He stayed there looking kind of cute, so I started to record him. I held the camera over my head to show his whole body, since I couldn't see over the edge of the cat tree, so I didn't realize that he was acting like this because his front claw was stuck to the back end of the thing he was laying in. I did not hurt him in any way, and he is doing fine now. Once I turned off the camera, I looked and discovered the problem, then helped him right away. I was laughing in the video because of the sad drunk look on his face, and I regret that I did not recognize his meows as a cry for help. He meows like that sometimes when he gets mad, justifying my mistake. But like I said, he is okay now and there was no blood or other injury. He simply got his claw stuck. Also, his head was NOT stuck. He just couldn't move because of the position of his leg that was stuck.

Oh yeah....you can just ignore my retarded voice. For some reason, I tend to sound like a guy in recordings. That's not quite what I sound like in person! lol

  • oh, poor little kitty! whats his breed?

  • @mykittysapphire12345

he's a "mutt" (rescued from an animal shelter that was about to euthanize him due to a URI), believed to be a russin blue X tabby mix.

  • @ChiefLeftenant not a bad suggestion, but I actually keep his claws trimmed regularly now so he can't hook them into the carpet like that anymore. It seems to be working fine, and he hasn't had this problem since. Thanks though!

  • @kittykitty0204 Might be a good idea to close that part of the tree off and any smaller parts. Just in case he doesn't learn his lesson. I had a dumb male that keep getting stuck behind the entertainment center. For a week I had to keep him locked up while we upgraded the old tube TV to a wall mount flat screen. Dumb ass never got stuck behind anything again.

I hope this is a joke. The video was posted 2 years ago. The cat is fine.

I didn't know what was wrong, so when I realized he must be in pain I turned off the camera and stood on something so I could see into the cat tree. I was able to easily move his paw to get the claw out of the carpet; here we are almost 2 years later, and he is doing fine. Had you read the description, I wouldn't have had to explain this. Regardless, he is ok and he was up running around acting like himself almost immediately after being 'rescued'.

  • get him out! why are you not helping him!

  • @DeviousBetrayer

lol I'm female....like I said in the description, my voice sounds stupid in recordings. it sounds deeper for some reason :/

  • You sound like a male but your hand looks female.
