Bonpo is miscontruing the themes of the song. He did not make any explicit reference to "bonpo". He was saying "outside religion" or "chi rol pai choe", I think meant due to zealous Christain missionaries activities in Tibet. Bonpo and Buddhism are the same with different name and different teachers. Both influenced each other deeply. Therefore, no Tibetan refers to Bonpo as outside religion.
