  • Does anyone else hear a weird synthetic-sounding smear at 5:00?

  • whether its beethoven or mozart who were absolute musical geniuses but different types of musical geniues if im not mistaken. this music like mozarts is pricless in its beauty grander and emotions it sturs in us all. to write music like this when you cant hear it but still be commpelled to always stay on top musical is inspiring to me and remarkable. beethovens music like mozarts cant have a price tag put on it. it speaks for its self

  • Obviously you must listen to his 3rd symphony to really behold beethoven's greatness.

  • @BlakeandIzzyforeva

he could hear when he wrote this, jegus christ

He didn't go deaf till later

  • 3:40 is one of the best parts of any Beethoven symphony

  • Wow, I haven't heard these great old Krips perfs in over 40 years, not since Everest released them on LP as part of one of the first (if not THE first) complete symphony sets in the wonder of the musical age: STEREO! They were recorded on 35mm film and their clarity and detail were a wonder all their own. Of course, Everest's pressings were a different matter so I had to go through 4 sets to get clean copies. But they were worth it. Many thanks!

  • I believe he lost his hearing gradually. That is why he became mad. From the research that I have done he could play the piano even though it was way out of tune. When he played a note, he would hear it in his head from all the time and dedication he put into music. After he was done with one of his works he was seated facing the orchestra. He was deaf and couldn't hear anything, but when the orchestra was done playing his piece he was then turned to the cheering audience. Beethoven is my idol.

  • @DoctorFrogger yes, there is such a sound. How could it be remedied?
