Thanks for that, great video. The garmin manual really is a bit misleading, it gives the impression you need to save your original map to a SD card before you use the new one, obviously from watching this that's not the case. Thanks again.

This was so incredibly helpful! Thank you! Even though I love my Garmin GPS and still intend to use future products, their website sucks!!! The manual told me nothing about how to install the mini sd to my Garmin Nuvi. Thanks again for such a great instructional video :-)

I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uhmmm, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as, uh, South Africa, and uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uhhh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa, it should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for us.

I was having a hard time verifying that I had installed a map on my Nuvi. I didn't think to zoom out and pan over to the region (South Africa). It looks like it finally worked!

I have a Streetpilot C330 and enthusiastically purchased a $69 compatible map update for Garmin from Target. Nothing was updated on my maps, nothing happened - TOTAL waste of money. It didnt work at all.
