I am a fan of Mr. Jonathan Kozol. I am not a fan of interllectural posts that are dishonest. His lecture, however, has nothing to do with his Jewish's faith. It's disingenious to say "White" children of limited financial resource is not given an advantage over other minority in certain areas. News media gave examples of this.
America is at her worse. Negative and dishonest posts are one example why. All citizens must propels up and out if America is to florish

Though i agree with Mr. Kozol on the schooling system aspect, I wonder how he feels about his relgion -Jewish, and how orthodox Jews don't assimilate with other races or intermarry with non jews- this is jewish orthodox belief folks -not mine.... I would love to hear his opinions on assimilation and intermarriage of the jewish religion with "gentiles" and people of color ...

@sweetnurnot10 The problem I have with the talk about bullies is that it was not an issue until whites started killing themselves and shooting up a school! Blacks like myself had to learn to fight and had their lives changed because of bullying. Of course it is typical of america, but still sickening.

I never claimed that poor whites get more aid than blacks.... They do also get aid though. As a poor half-white person, my scholarships has to do with my financial status, not the fact that I am half Puerto Rican.
So what do you want me to prove?
Also, could you show a little respect for someone you don't know.

@RudeDan That is patently, demonstrably false. I see you are willing to lie to make a point. Disgraceful. Please provide evidence that poor whites get more aid than poor blacks.

@sweetnurnot10 Not always - and the negro schools try to do the same thing, genius.
im not sure why your saying that kozol is a racist. he is arguing that inner city schools are grossly underfunded in comparison to their suburban counterparts. that is the main premise of his thesis. this talk in particular does delve into the issue a lack of hygiene on school grounds which im gathering keeps a student body unmotivated. and that segregation in schools still exist is his other main argument. idk just how integrated a society we are today say vs. a generation ago.
