Robert Kennedy won the California primary on June 4th, 1968. Then he makes his speech which was near midnight going onto June 5th ,1968. Following that he is shot in the pantry of the Ambassador Hotel

  • What a shame that he did not make it he would have made a big difference in this country what a great loss to all of us.

  • With this California Primary victory, RFK's total delegate count ran to 393&1/2 convention votes, still far behind Hubert Humphrey's 561&1/2 delegates but ahead of Eugene McCarthy, who had 258.
