This is a fiddle tune about murder and the consequences of it. A young man of 21 who is "too old to be controlled" is shot to death my a jelous man who is executed for his mistake.

no, 'bout 630 miles away. but i spent a week near there pickin and slappin wherever i could find a jam.

and the more i watch this, compared side by side with other bluegrass here on you tube, the more i recognize the different nuances of that particular region

its awesome!
