i thank God i was a teenager then,i feel o sorry for todays kids they missed so much good music

This song is a great example of the brilliant pop songs from the late 60s/early 70s written by the teams of Cook/Greenaway, Reed/Mason, Tony Hazzard etc. It was a tremendous time for catchy, melodic & well crafted pop songs, & i'm glad i was around to appreciate it ! Thanks for posting.

well, i have to admit that a lot of music sucks today. I wished i lived back then and experience good, actual music. music today is full of talentless and overrated artists

All I wanted for Christmas 1971 was their first album, of which this was one of the tracks. Turned out to be the best one.

This is a classic. I'm so glad I was around to appreciate it as a child, they don't make 'em like this any more which is so sad.

@BILLFRANCIS1956 I'm same age. The first band I really loved with a passion. The first album, with this on it, was a treasure to me for years.

@therodski1: The four guys are the original line-up of White Plains. The two at the back are Roger Greenaway and Robin Shaw; the two at the front are Tony Burrows and Robin Box.
