the Monaro easily became the 2004 GTO. And Bob Lutz owner of gm now had something to plug into the gap in Pontiac's product portfolio.iam all American but australians had it first

the only reason why australians act annoyed at americans not giving the car reconition because for us, that car is like your dodge chargers/firebirds/mustangs. it has history to it. The original brand of the GTO made 'the v8 supercars' which is a race just like nascar but australians use pontiacs, we call them 'holdens'

I came.

@damodjp why are the australians bitchin' about it, your supposed to be the cool ones
maybe everyone but you
-
we give you an australian car and you fucks still cant do burnouts
-
@DeathValleyRoad - oops - You forgot Pontiac G8, and the Chevy Caprice Police Interceptor as well...

@DaBluedude100 Ok thanks

@DeathValleyRoad Mondeo is a British model, Ford family car. in SA they sell it as the chevy lumina or the caprice. Its a Holden Monaro in Aus, a Vauxhaul Monaro in Europe, and yeah the Pontiac GTO in america.

Kay I fail. I DONT remember right, just looked it up, its also called Holden Monaro, Vauxhall Monaro VXR, Chevrolet Lumina Coupe, Chevrolet Opala (Not produced)
looks like there have been some serious buthurt comments about this cars origins. Why not just say its a LS2 (corvette) engined muscle car thats really fun to drive? sure ill say its american muscle (refering to the engine) in a well sorted chassis. Who cares what its called, who made it, or what company started it. Its just a fun, rwd, (should all be manual) big power, awesome, muscle car.
