OMG thank you! I was screwing around with The safety and I heard a "pop!!" and I thought "oh my god I broke something" and I knew what a shepherds hook was but couldn't find how to install it

thanks for this one i had it wraped completly wrong and my hammer retaining pin slid partly out and the hammer smacked the side of my reciever while shooting scared the hell out of me while i was trying to recock the hammer and eject the LIVE round at the same time by hand

Thank you for this video. I recently was cleaning my akm and decided to clean under the saftey lever... The shepherds crook popped out and had no clue how to put it back. Thanks for the help.

Any luck Matt? If the crook will not fit back in, maybe try a selector plate... The are $4 and I've heard good about them, plus there are some instrucitions and vids on those also.

Thank you soooo much!!! My ak came witht the sheppherds crook installed wrong, and the trigger pin kept walking out. Nobody knew how it went, and 3 guys tried different ways but all of the ways were not holding the pin in. My fix was some 2 in bolts and nuts, but would catch your hands a leave a nice little prick... This save my arse!!!
