  • Beautiful, beautiful. He who speaks against it is the owner of Honda. I have a RD350LC 88, and here in Brazil think that it has no brakes. I disagree, I'm in my second RD350 and feel totally safe in their third brake discs. The RD500 is so good, that made great success in the world, is the best known of all the 500 2T. Suzuki RG500 is also very good, has 95 hp (more powerful), but is less stable. Both are great bikes, I have two in my garage. Congratulations on your RZV500R.

  • The widow maker

  • Guyz every 2stroke bike from 70's to 90's is one of a kind but the earlier ones have some cons:bad brakes, bad suspension etc etc. These guys who race these bikes are heroes to me...

  • @kawa7900 Definitely, in fact I would take any of the classic two stroked from the 70's annd 80's and be happy and the Bimota from more recently, ;)

  • Yeh the gamma was a better bike than the RD , But lets face it we would have had either of them .

  • The Rg500 was a faster and better bike than the RD500.

  • if I understand the Suzuki RG500 was much higher than the yamaha

  • You would be quite disappointed if you did find one. They looked nice but were dogs ..slow and heavy bad brakes..The RG500 was the real deal fast light and great brakes..But to each his own i guess.

  • I wish I could find one of these beasts.
