Environmentalist Bill McKibben is a scholar in environmental studies at Middlebury College.
McKibben is an American environmentalist and writer who frequently writes about global warming, alternative energy, and the risks associated with human genetic engineering. Beginning in the summer of 2006, he led the organization of the largest demonstrations against global warming in American history. McKibben is active in the Methodist Church, and his writing sometimes has a spiritual bent.
He is the author of The End of Nature (1989), the first book for a general audience about global warming. Recent books include Enough (2004), which critiques human genetic engineering and other rapidly advancing technologies; Wandering Home (2005), which catalogs his foot-travels across the Vermont landscape; and Age of Missing Information (2006), in which he compares his experience watching 1700 hours of videotaped TV to that of contemplating nature in the Adirondacks.
Stuart Schulzke is FORA.tv's Director of Content Development. He earned two graduate degrees at the University of Oxford and his research has ranged from conflict resolution in Palestine to anti-corruption strategies in post-communist Central and Eastern Europe. Schulzke previously worked for the United States House of Representatives, primarily in framing media strategies for the Congressional Human Rights Caucus.

I'm not quiting. You keep saying I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm the only one talking. You say I don't understand the issues, but don't explain what I'm wrong about. I have looked at both sides of the issue. How can I just except what the science have to say when they've been caught fudging the science, and won't let the other side speak. That shows they (scientist) have something to hide.

Ok since you keep saying nothing and accuse me of not thinking. If this is not political, and not a tax for the UN, for their Global control, answer this.1, If the climate is in such dire straits, why does Al Bore keep getting caught lying about the data?# 2 Why won't the scientist gather in Copenhagen and debate for all to see? If what they say is true then we can see it for ourselves,( Both side) but instead they want to leave it to the politicians. That makes it political.

@AGENTKILLER34 I avoided nothing, I just pointed out that you know nothing of the topic at hand and that is made quite clear by your grade school emotional response.
Arguing with you is like arguing with a blathering talking point, what is the point if you refuse to think for yourself?
I have no more time for sheeple like you who are too lazy to think for themselves.
Talk about EPIC FAIL You are simply too dumb to call fail on anyone as you do not even understand the topic - Try teletubbies.

And the only think you can teach me is how to avoid questions, try looking like you know what your saying without saying anything. Thruthers, alex jones, I thought they fight to find out who attacked us on 911. What the hell do they have to do with climate change. You can't even get that right. Sorry epic FAIL.

I hate to brake it to you but your the one getting schooled here. I'm telling it like it is. "Politicians from all corners of the world were blamed widely for not setting ambitious enough targets to counter climate change. "They refused to lead and instead sought to bribe and bully developing nations to sign up to the equivalent of a death warrant. The best outcome now is no deal," said Tim Jones, climate policy officer from the World Development Movement.
