I show you the complete process for casting duplicates of a miniature figure. How to make the rubber mold in two parts and how to cast the miniature duplicate. A two part mold is the kind of rubber mold you make for complex minis like figures, warriors, wizards, dwarves etc. This is part 2 of 2 videos.
Ltts more miniature stuff on my website, sculpting, casting, painting, dioramas and more.

  • Is it a soft or firm plastic? Also does the weight fall closer to resin or metal or GW plastic? Or somewhere in between? Thanks for sharing

  • @Ydouneed2nomyname Its a hard plastic and it is about the same weight as a resin.

  • thats awesome bud. Just 2 questions: are the 2 silicone parts expensive? Also could you recommend a place online where we can get it? thanks a lot man :D would love to see some of these that you have painted :D

  • @themaskboy1234 rather expensive but that is relative. The company is called Smooth-On. You can get on amazon.

  • hows the detail on the copy? it looked like it didn't have to much?

  • @jdhitc The detail is really good BUt, you have to really cast it carefully and geit it in all the cracks. My original wasn't detailed to start.
