Till this day they are my most respected band. Just amazing instrumentals and vocals. Everything is just so well put together and perfect. Respect to you guys for being such a kick ass band.

I saw a commercial for concerts & conventions and they said that someone is trying to put a ban on them in Las Vegas. I sure hope that is not tru because I havent been seeing many concerts come to vegas in the last 2 years there used to be alot

@Pontus900 oh and I do think the pitch correction is huge...it gives off a very very specific sound, obviously some of their songs have it more than others but as a whole its very very very prominent in their music.

@Pontus900 I mentioned Dio and 'classic' metal because my comment that you were attacking was in response to someone who was comparing Phil's clean singing to that of 'classic' metal and wondering why many people take issue with his clean vox but were ok with clean vocals in a previous era. I was pointing out that there is a HUGE difference between the two as the clean vocals here are essentially influenced by and structured like modern pop vocal hooks.

Yeah that's you know "classic" metal, this is obviously not that.
And just because it does not fit into DIO it doesnt mean they automatically become pop.
Sure they do use some kind of software to fix the vocals, all artists/bands today, but its nothing big like pitch correction to that extent of autotune.

It kind of bothers me that people call the newer music selling out or whatever. There was a time people actually appreciated vocal ability in metal that went beyond screaming. I for one prefer metal that has a good balance of screams and melodies. This guy has one of the BEST screams ever, but wow can he sing too, what's wrong with that?
