The economy is in shambles and the current parties are nothing but mirror images of each other beholden to the powerful interests that get them elected. We are now seeing violent backlashes across the world that are the results of the very policies/dogmas under which we suffer, and whether we realize it or not, these violent displays of inchoate anger could explode in the US despite our unfounded belief in our exceptionalism. Every single politician is a massive hypocrite on war, drugs, and civil liberties except for one principled candidate willing to stand against the tide of irrationality that has turned liberty into a 4 letter word and personal responsibility into the enterprise of fools. It's time to turn the tide, or let successive generations descend into further idiocy, irresponsibility, debt, violence, and hatred.
