i no what you mean when i try and talking i cant find the words and stumble very much. writing the words just flow and i can get the message through clearily but my mom doesnt get that.

how do you break the shyness though?

Really enjoyed your video. I provide coaching to business people, often to help them learn to compensate for their introversion or shyness. I don't believe there is anything inherently wrong with these characteristics, but they do sometimes hold people back in business. Thanks for encouraging people to stretch themselves...
oh, and sometimes those of us who are not shy have to practice being quiet -- that's a challenge as well.

some people just don't understand that silence is really golden sometimes

it is very refreshing to hear logic for once on youtube and not ignorant crap from smart ass 7 year olds.
This is a good video. Most videos about shyness make shy people feel like they suffer from some kind of mental illness. I mean, as a shy person, I find that to be kind of insulting. If you're an extrovert, you have no idea how awkward it is to grow up shy & how horrible social functions can be. Anyway, thanks for saying something POSITIVE about shy people for a change w/o being judgmental.

@MishuTaste Glad you enjoyed it. Don't give up on finding a way to express yourself. Actually, I recommend the Lady Gaga interview with Google's Marissa Mayer as an example of how to overcome social awkwardness. Go get 'em!

Thanks for posting this video. I'm shy and I still believe talking is over rated. Because I am very reserved and always appear serious (so I've been told) I am continually misunderstood. People mistake me as being unfriendly and mean. Once they get to know me they realize i'm a sweetheart and not mean. What they don't realize is my facial expression might appear as "being mean" because I am constantly thinking. Sometimes it just hurts always being misunderstood.

Happy that you liked it. lol, "talking is over rated," well, if people get to know you, it's probably by at least some talking! But, I think I know what you mean. It's possible to communicate a lot without a lot of words if someone gets you. Don't worry about those misunderstandings. Look for people who do understand. Go places you like and you'll find other people like yourself.

Practice is the key. You need to practice and vlogging can really help. Come to VloggerHeads. It's a great community and people are very welcoming of newcomers and shy people! Honest! Thanks for the comment.
