i talked to a lot of my clemson fan friends and they said nebraska would get run over by spiller, well he AND OTHER RUNNING BACKS FROM CLEMSON COMBINED FOR A TOTAL 4 YARDS IN RUSHING THAT GAME
it still didn't matter because it wasn't a fumble, so of course they reversed it. If it had been a fumble, or if they said it wasn't when it was then it would be a big deal. And if they did return it for a touchdown, then yes we would have had to score again but then maybe we would have. See if any play clemson ran, they might have scored on that play, then we would have had to score again anyway.
the fumble by patrick wit? u idiot! think about it! they ran that back for a tuch down! then we would of had to score. we would of lost if that play didnt get reversed! come on man!
as a clemson maniac, first i'd like to say helluva game by both sides, more so to nebraska than us. there were a few key things i saw. the run didnt work for either team early, but we gave it up and y'all didnt. that was big. the other thing is that our quarterback handed y'all the game. shoulda put the backup in. or the third stringer for all i care. but once again good job nebraska. just would have liked to see our side a little better coached offensively.
Well it was a great game but Suh should have been the player of the game, not Ganz, and why was the play of the game the play that didn't actually matter at all?
when i look back on this whole season for nebraska, the #1 thing that sticks out to me is resiliency. a husker defense that ranked 112th last year came in this year with even less talent, and had its share of costly injuries. yet we still ranked 66th in defense (while being in the big 12). resiliency on both sides of the ball won us a few games (baylor 32-20, KU 45-35, CU 40-31, and now clem 26-21) and kept us in it in some close losses (35-30 to VT, 37-31 to TTU). a 9 win season is sensational
and it was exactly the opposite. no offense (especially in the first half), and one heck of a game defensively! not to mention the overall resiliency of the whole team throughout the whole year. i am so excited to see what the d is gonna do once we get more speed and talent into the linebacking corps and secondary. and ndamukong suh is nebraska's glenn dorsey for pelini. hes going to be a force next year, assuming he doesnt declare for the draft. GO BIG RED!

Any play could turn out like Patrick Witt's play. Still I think Swift's awesome TD should be the play of the game or something.
