I know I said the same thing when I read the article... I love j Hud and I think she's perfect for the role.. Because she's this generations Aretha.. Very few people have the vocal talent she does.

Agreed about Beyonce. She royally fucked up Etta James' songs. Beyonce can't convey any other emotions except for "cat in heat" and "look at my vocal runs aren't they pretty." Soul music is all about conveying emotions, and Beyonce is a really sexy, but emotionless, robot.
