The music kicks in as the low rainbow suddenly appears with a passing heavy shower(9-16 December 2007). Song is PDA by Interpol, a great song by a great band. The first time lapse (no rainbow) is from the evening of the 13 December, 2007, the second is from the morning of the 15th, the third is the morning of the 14th, the fourth (best) is the evening of the 16th, and the last is the sunset of the 9th December. So not in chronological order. This is fun!

thanks, it really is better, where were they taken? looks so beautiful and high spirited, loven the music with it too. next vid you gotta play it with The Killers "when we were young, I remember seeing the most incredible sunset in Darwin when it was playing on the radio, the strangest one ever and most beautiful, there was a rainbow that looked like a spider web, very hexagonal split. I pulled over to record it but my phone didn't pick up the light :(

That sounds interesting, the hexagonal split rainbow, I'm guessing thats because bands of rain were lighting up different segments of it?? We have another impressive rainbow here this evening, we have had them every evening for the last several days. This is why there is a rainbow on the Hawaii license plate.

I hate seeing those damn trade wind clouds blow in from the NE. I guess we got pretty spoiled with all that Kona weather - now we have to deal with normalcy for a bit. That last clip of the sunset is excellent - it could be the opening to CSI.

Yeah I know, but I guess we have to make the best of it. Anyway I have work to do and that last storm completely distracted me so maybe its for the best.
