Over the edge of just Breathless Chapter 23

*2 hours later, back at the stadium*

The gang had gotten back to the arena, and the girls were warming up in their room, and getting make-up and wardrobe. The boys were waiting outside their door anxiously. They had gotten ready quickly, so they had time for the girls before the meet and greet, which they planned to ask the girls if they wanted to come too. Joe was leaning against the door, Kevin was tapping his hand against the wall, rythmically, and Nick was playing with a hanging plant.

Joe: What's with you and plants, dude?
Nick: What?
Joe: You were playing with the plant... Like you did on the 'Nick J Show' also...
Nick: oh. I didn't notice. I was to busy thinking about her eyes...
Joe: The plants!? I'm pretty sure she has no eyes... Kevin! Guess what!? Nick has decided to dump Kirsten for a plant!
Kevin: I'm not surprised, she's got nice full leaves and a really smooth stem...
Nick: GUYS!! *playfully punches Joe and Kevin's arm*
The boys laugh, and suddenly there's silence...

*Suddnely, Kevin broke the ice...*

Kevin: Guys?
Joe and Nick: Yeah?
Kevin: I think....*Pauses for a moment* I'm going to ask Abbey to marry me.
Joe: WHAT!??
Nick: Dude!!
Kevin: Guys, I've always said that when I found love I was going to keep it, and hold on to it. And I'm gunna do that this time. This is love. I feel it in my heart. Like God is telling me that this isn't fake. It's real.
Joe: All right, do what your heart tells you.
Nick: When are you gunna ask her?
Kevin: I don't know. Maybe at the party tonight.
Joe: What party?
Nick: *looks at Joe* Wowww Joe! The kickoff tour party maybe!? Remember!? We planned it forever!
Joe: Ohhh THAT party. i soo knew that...
Kevin: Anyways yeah. SO do you think I should?
Nick: Well, I'd wait a little bit longer..
Joe starts to laugh, doing a bad job of holding it in, so Nick shoves him.
Joe: Whaaat?? I always laugh whenever you say one of our song names. I don't know it's funny.
Nick shakes his head, then puts his hand on Kevin's shoulder.
Nick: Your my brother, Kevin. Without you, there wouldn't be Jonas Brothers. I want you to maybe think this through before you do anything rational. It's your choice, but I'm giving you the best advice I can. Wait a bit..
Joe buts in..
Joe: But if your heart says now, then listen to it. Sometimes you have to be irrational. That's the way life is. Take a chance.
Nick: That's true to. But Kevin, it's your choice. I just want you to make a good one.
Kevin: Thanks guys. I'll give it some thought I guess
Just then, the girls opened the door. Abbey walked out first. Kevin's jaw dropped open. Abbey was wearing a tight pink spaghetti strapped shirt, with rhinestone studs, and pink and black matching arm warmers. She had on tight black skinny jeans and pink flats and her hair was piled up on the top of her head, curls bouncing down. Her makeup was beautiful too. She had pink eye shadow loaded with sparkles across her eyes and her cheek bones accented, with a shimmery lip gloss. Kevin was absolutely astounded, he wanted to propose right there, but held himself back. Abbey walked over to Kevin and shut his jaw. Next, Alyssa walked through the door, and it was Joe's turn to have his jaw drop. Alyssa was wearing a black mini dress with silver legging and silver and black shoes. She had on bracelets all the way up her arm, every other one black then silver, alldazzling with sparkles. Her hair was down, and parted to the side, a black headband in it and silver sparkles in her hair. She had plain silver sparkles for eyeshadow and perfect mascara with a touch of lip gloss. She walked over to Joe and looked up at him and smiled.
Joe: MAN AM I GLAD TO HAVE YOU BACK!!
She laughed as Kirsten walked out the door, and Nick's face lit up like a lightbulb. She was wearing a baby blue tank and and a black mini skirt and black half gloves that apparently belonged to Demi. Her hair was slightly crimped and some of it was up, and some of it was down. She had on blue flats with tiny black heels. Nick wanted to just hold her and never let her go.
The girls went to stand next to each other in front of the boys.
Alyssa: So..How do we look?
She does a circle and her dress flies up just the slightest bit, making Joe feel nauseous. He grabs the wall for support.
Joe: A-mazzzing
Nick: *still staring at Kirsten* Out of this world...
Joe silently chuckles and Nick wacks him, while still staring at her
Kevin: *Kevin is looking Abbey up and down* Beautiful... which is an understatement actually.
The three girls blush, and the boys regain composure.
Joe: You guys wanna come to our meet and greet?
Nick: They're gunna get more attention than us *laughs*
Abbey: We'd love too!
Kirsten: Yeah sounds like fun!
Alyssa: Let's go!
