  • Wow thats ok i guess but my dance studieo works on all that and MORE its awesome!

  • @gitrdunn then i guess its a good thing you aren't a dancer. because you get that at A LOT of ballet studios. My instructor does it. She's grabbed my foot, raised it, then kicked my standing leg in the knee for me to lock it out. But, i appreciate it.

  • @gitrdunnn I do it all the time, if it's not where I want it, I put it there. So that that students will cease practising bad habits.

  • @gitrdunnn Why? Manipulating your body and shaping it so that it’s placed correctly is part of ballet training. Ballet masters routinely use their hands to literally “shape” the student’s body. A teacher pushing and prodding and shoving at your body allows you to learn what the correct position feels like, and what muscles you need to work to achieve it, not a reason to punch him in the face.

  • omg if a teacher ever grabbed my foot and did that to me especially since he was rolling in id punch him in the face. like atleast make sure hes ready for that!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Irinabalerina100 Graduating from a Russian academy as a dancer does also does not qualify you to teach Russian ballet. You can only teach Russian ballet (in Russia) if you have graduate pedagogical Diplom. As for Eric Conrad, he graduated from Institute of Russian Theater in the class of the legendary Mikhail Lavrovsky, who is the Artistic Director of that institute. He was a pedagogue and choreographer at the Moscow State Choreographic Academy of the Bolshoi Theater.
