Myopia

Second project I worked on during my fall semester in March 2008. It is titled Myopia referring to one of its meanings. "A Lack of discernment or long-range perspective in thinking or planning." This footage was shot on the fly with little effort towards camera set up and anything else. The automatic camera style allowed me to catch footage at a quick pace that of which I ultimately spliced together in the film lab.

This footage was shot on a Bolex camera using 16mm black and white reversal. There is no audio.

Dont look for meaning when you watch this. Just ponder what it makes you feel.
