@sadlobster1 Well, I guess there are different kinds of respect. Maybe they don't respect and kind of listen to him as much as most people do to their captains, but there's surely some respect for him somewhere (though they always seem to scold him and hit him (that's nami :P) )

@TheRandomGirl5109 They actually respect Luffy? I didn't really notice anything of the sort, after the last 10,000 beatings the crew gave him (including Vivi in this scene.) I know the guy can be a little naive but is that any reason to beat him to the point of being confined in a hospital bed?

To me, Luffy's like Goku; though the two of them aren't that smart, they always put their heart and souls into things that matter most to them

@saurinaszoro They respect Luffy as captain, but the strawhats are awesome in a way that they can treat each other as equals. For example, they don't usually call him "captain" but "Luffy" instead. They DO respect him though :D
