Been working on it for past 4 days and didnt bother to film because i just want to finish it quick. The engine was off of my POS 33CC bandit Scooter I traded like a week ago and since it was so slow I used the engine on my old bike.

The gear box helped alot in the build but after making this vid, the engines head bolts got loose and died about a km from my house LOL!! Luckily there was no major damage and only needed lock tight, new gasket and a honing since there was some small scoring on the exhaust side because it was running lean.

Max speed is 20MPH/30KM

  • did you take care of that crack in the lower mtr mnt? funny, i had the exact same motor and it too entire lacked the pull start.

  • @nstable funny thing is the motor didn't crack, the scooters engine mounts did on the frame. This motor was very good and never had problems except the noisy horrid crank bearings, other than that it took beatings with out dying

  • where do your feet go????

  • @sleadhead1g when i made this video, i just finished it and i was excited to film it. I did weld a tube so that you can put your feet on.

  • finally someone did it right, fuck friction drive.

  • @30GB not necessarily, the advantages of friction I have found is that it can be removed very quickly, and can be disengaged easily, also, since only 1 bolt/stud is used to hold it, it holds up better legally as it isn't a motorcycle. because of it's simplicity it is easier to fix or remove when the engine goes wrong, and 2 stroke engines like this do quite often.

  • We did this back in the 80's with a chainsaw motor

  • i have the same engine but my bicycle is 20''. it will go with the same speed than yours?

  • @MaraJadeZX it is illegal because it is no longer a bicycle. It is now a motorcycle and in need of licensing and shit. You cut the pedals off. I did the same thing on my first build. For it tio be legal it needss to be able to be completely human powered, with a motor assist. Otherwise its a motorcycle.

  • @mlbirdinground Why is it illegal?

  • damn id jst drive tht mustang sitin right there in the drive way!!!:)
