I'm getting about 3,600 global monthly searches and even though exact match is less than 10,000 results - competition is still stiff. There's a lot of money in audiobooks and the top players in the niche know that.

actually you're wrong about "business audio books" being a competitive keyword phrase. For that exact phrase, there is only About 9,960 results (competitors) and there are only 390 global monthly searches for this phrase. So if you really knew internet marketing or SEO, you would know that it's not worth trying to dominate the phrase "business audio books". Anybody could dominate this phrase with very little effort.
