The Snyder SOS FSU Project provides through the work and dedication of JDC (The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee) and the Hesed centers - life saving support to needy throughout more than dozen cities in Russia. Medication, medical procedures, and sometimes bad to sleep in or roof to stay under are some of the many critical needs fellow Jews need. The Snyder SOS FSU Project, through the generosity and leadership of Sandy & Edgar Snyder of Pittsburgh makes a difference in the lives of many hundreds of needy every year.
In this first video about the SOS Project, I am visiting the distant city of Izhevsk during the winter (below minus 30!) and meet with some of the amazing Hesed clients who have been touched and helped by the Snyder SOS Project.
