Im kinda pissed. Im white and live in hawaii and get called haole all the time by a bunch of mokes. Only problem is asians arent hawaiian yet there completely accepted. Pisses me off. Ive lived on hawaii longer then a lot of the hawaiians at my school do ! WTFF

@mashbot I was born and raised in Wisconsin and I was one of the only Asians at my schools...talk about isolation! My mother is Haole and my father was born and raised on the Big Island and Oahu, I lived in Japan for 4 years and was also considered a Haole by them... the only time I EVA felt at home and welcome regardless of my ethnicity was when I have been in Hawaii. If I could, I would move there in a heartbeat...ALOHA

The reason why people will always call you "haole" is because you gotta realize the damage that white people have done to the people of Hawaii. They took the Hawaiians' land, and they overthrew the Kingdom of Hawaii. Then they recruited people from Asian countries for cheap labor and made them toil in the cane fields. Das why local people can't stand haoles.
