Longplay of the Amiga version of Kings Quest V - this is a bad port and runs very slowly on an unaccelerated Amiga. Anyway, I accelerated the emulation to prevent any big slowdowns.

Near the end of the video, in Mordacks bedroom, you'll notice the video skips a little bit - this is because I cut out several minutes where I could do nothing but wait.

The black line at the top is supposed to be there and I couldn't crop it as the icon menu takes up all that place when I bring that up. I checked Mobygames and the black line is supposed to be there, it's not a bug.

I loved the whole kinds quest series as a kid, until the last one: The mask of Eternity. Kings quest was never meant to be hack n' slash!

I love the Kings Quest V music, although i played the PC version but the Amiga one is pretty cool too. Makes me wanna play through the game again. =)

i rember this game i hated going through that damm desert and i ahted THAT GODDAMM OWL!!! but i love the music especially the harpies scene

@Janspeed69 Agree. It was incredibly poorly programmed unfortunately. In some scenes you had wait a whole minute for the character to walk from one end of the screen to the other.

I used to hate this game because of the waiting and the constant 5 disk swapping......still hate it now even when it is fast forwarded!
