Lee sounds ridiculous at 1:36.

one man this voice.. man i'm melting

This is a much much truer version of the songs meaning than t5he original by the Righteous Brothers. The vocals here thanks to to wonderful Lee are both resigned & world weary. Nancy's reponse is just the right side of cool.I always felt the orginal lyrics & vocals didn't match the vocals were too happy/peppy.

What a song what entertainers!

hfelknor - it was probably the chemistry ,which made their songs so real. But if they ever ... well, would you , with a father like that and his friends ? And Lee being married ? I don't think so.

This is so coool ! Lee is showing his range more than on any other recording I can think of. And yes, there certainly is chemistry between them. Should we really know ? Would he dare -with Frank as Nancy's father?
In the end, it is not important. They gave us beautiful music, light to thoughtful and I am happy they did.

Wow. Very nice version. I used to listen to the Elvis version, but this is one is really very good with the voice of Nancy. I love her.

they will always belong together.

Makes more sense than the Righteous bros......but they of course set the gold standard. I'm sorry, but it is hard to believe that Lee and Nancy's relationship was strictly platonic........ The chemistry was always there. Chemistry is hard to ignore.
