couldnt anyone get the implant if they wanted it?I mean with so many people dying of the problem would it not make sence to give everyone one (maybe make you pay a fee depending on what you earn)?
I dont think a doctor would want to put it into a healthy patient a ICD is for patients who are known to go into a low cardiac output rhythm ICDs are not as strong as a DFIB shock they are not maid for full blown aysystole

As a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivor I am so happy to see the efforts put forth to make this condition known. Public awareness and preparedness is what is going to save more of us. You never know when it will happen or to whom, so being prepared is a must! Hopefully everyone will take the responsibility to get CPR training, just in case.
This video is such a great inspiration. It would help spread the word about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and the need to have quick access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). We at Annuvia believe that encouraging and educating bystanders to help in a medical emergency is the only way to save lives.
