A first round of a little midnite jamming with NI's MASCHINE and AKAI's MPC 3000. I brought over the new tool to DJ Dave's toy room. Maschine's 1.03 version proved itself highly unstable in midi sync slave mode (basically impossible to tweak without breaking the time)- for now - so this first one was done manually. That, a wining neighour and a DJ Dave's wife Gritt urging him to come to bed and get ready for the next day were a few minor obstacles in exploring this more and deeper, for now.

  • Lol, thanks for your enhouiasmm most people take this vid way too serious....not a tutorial, nor show off how good we are at beat matching without midi.... Just good sound without trying too much.... And u are right...versus....is overrated these days, and technically wrongly used :)

  • Is there tape on the keys to tell you what note it is? hahahahah

  • @MonsieurAlfonse pretty much - this whole music thing got reverse engineered here ....

  • i have an mpc 500 , threw in a gig ram and its a monster , im working well wiv it,,have listen too some of my tunes , but mashine looks like the one for me

  • just received an MPC 5000 for review purposes. "toe to toe" video coming up!

  • Seems like a sampler, at 5:18 / 5:19 ? What is it?

  • it's the beloved microkorg :) -the usual drill, covered with stickies and tape.

  • can u work on the maschine without a computer???

  • i hit the like button. think of it as freestyle session and not a review. anyways, love my 2000xl and i'm sampling 5:17

  • @SoulcheckAudio let's focus on the essentials it's all about music - no need to use all capabilities just because they are there - just a strong beat - with show off of manual (no midi?) beat matching - hence the versus title... less is more.

  • @TheElimullin sounds great - deep beat - just because you can't do it , don't be jealous with your nasty negativity!

  • what's the conclusion ???!! pffffffffffffffff thsi video doesn't make sens....

mpc 3000 vs maschine ???!! versus ???!!!.....mpc 3000 & maschine will be a better titile...

  • @TheElimullin lol

  • nice music :)

  • @EvanroseMedia dont be jealous - dope beats - deep groove - what's not to like. and all in real time, no cable sync...DJ power.
