you don't have to run it wide open the whole time. More power means faster out of the corners, lighter means it'll handle better and the rider is less worn out throughout the movie. it would be faster.

@skifeizzle i know it weighs less but it dont weigh to much less for it to matter about weight its the fact that the power is too much for a small track. think of it like this..... im using this as an example put a 1000 hp car on a small track like tsukuba vs a 500 hp car the 500 hp car has to brake less it can keep its momentum easier ......im not sayin the 2 stroke is bad im not im just saying its not always about power that wins sometimes less power is more

you could ride a cr500 on a super cross track, no big deal, it'd actually do better than the 450's, it weighs alot less.

@skifeizzle true thats why i said the 450 would win but also because the 500 is not made to ride supercross in my oppinon its more of a outdoor track and if you ran them in the out door tracks the 500 would probly win hands down but its just to much power on a small dome track

@CountryBoyDak put a GOOD rider on both bikes, the 500 will whoop the 450

put a bad rider on both bikes, the 450 will spank the 500.

2stroke takes alot more skill to ride.

nothing compared to a 2stroke 500 motocross bike.

cr500 is ~64hp

@dardysingder looks like it was doin a pretty good job to me btw this was alot of straights knotice when they did hit a corner the 450 caught up so put them on a supercross track and the 450 would more than likely rape the 500 depending on the rider but id put my money on the 450

@TheHammer209 I can powerwheelie my 450 and 426 4stroke on 5th gear without any problem, can't wheelie a 250 2 stroke at 5th gear without pulling it up or using suspension/clutch help
