Don't meant to sound like a noob but what kind of Engine does the Tucson have?

yes, only the series 80 muffler. the pipe was fabricated as necessary to fit

Thanks! yeah i', too keen on those tuner mufflers either. The BAD news is, my FlowMaster and whole exhaust rusted out and fell off about a year ago! Didn't sounds quite as nicely tuned then :-) So now i'm back to the stock Hyundai exhaust (with the hope that that will last longer).

Cool sound! I'll give this vid a "like". I have a '07 Sonata GLS V6 and I have a full exhaust using Insynerator Mufflers (A Flowmaster knockoff) and custom headers. I get the same looks you do when I drive by people. Glad you didn't put one of those tuner (trash can) mufflers on it. Good job!

@Fallingup899 the same engine as the Tiburon, the hotrod parts for that can be used on the Tucson motors too.

Really? it IS a pretty cool sort of niche being 4x4, small, and pretty quick once i put an SRI intake on in place of the stock air filter box. And with the exhaust it makes a litte noise now. So it's fun.

Thanks GranTourismo2400, Yeah, it's sure no V8 with straight headers, but sure as hell sounds ballsier and accellerated faster than when i drove it off the lot. And people always look when i drive it, like "what is making all the noise?' (cause they don't expect it from this little shit-box) which is fun too of course!

Man, i'm sorry - i am not physically in the greatest shape, so jacking it up and measuring things and taking a couple pics is not as easy a task for me as it used to be. In fact the last time i got a flat and had to jack the car up, i ended up being stuck in bed for a week with ice packs on my back. Sucks. I had somebody do all this muffler work for me, i didn't put the Flowmaster on myself. If i will TRY to get some pics and data in the future but i don't know when that will be, All the best
