My Hydrogen Generator (1st test)

My 1st Hydro-Gen. Built mostly from stuff lying around my shop. Based off the "Power Tube" design, with several modifications which should boost production with a larger electrolyzing unit, and I added more 2" screw adapters to make the unit easier to dissemble and clean/replace parts. I hope to put this unit to work running a generator to help power my house

What function does that clear tube on the elbow that runs from the top to the bottom do?

@skibearfish I've been looking everywhere for the couplers that you are using for the water level hose, could you tell me what you are using? and how do the fittings secure to the PVC pipe?

@kolkid213 Got them at Lowes, or maybe Home Depot. They screw in, so you have to drill and tap the pipe. I also used some pvc cement to keep it water tight.

After this unit, I built a larger (similar design)unit that is twice the size of this one, and neither has been able to make more than 1/2 liter per minute. I am still experimenting, and just got a PWM (pulse width modulator, so I should now be able to get it closer to 1 liter per min. hopefully. As it is now though, I have my gen hooked up and working on my Diesel 6.9 Chevy Stepvan, and my mpg has improved from 10 mpg to 13. 30% increase I'll take it.
