Heroes of Destiny - Subfactions

A demonstration of the Heroes of Destiny Warcraft III map, showing the eight different subfactions in the map. Each game, the player can choose between one of two subfactions for his race. The subfactions are:

Order of Truth
This Human subfaction uses mobility to survive the battlefield. They use mobile barracks, and their army consists of Truthfighters (infantry troops), Lightstriders (Infantry in battlesuits) and magicians.

Thieves' Guild
This Human subfaction uses stealth to reach their goals. They can recruit most of their troops directly from their headquarters, and if needed they can set up tents that works as extension barracks.

The Seekers
This Orc subfaction has ancient undead orc creatures in their armies, including skeletal orcs and Stormreavers.

Fel Legion
This Orc subfaction is the offspring of Grom Hellscream and has Fel Orcs and Red dragons as their armies.

Crypt Swarm
This Undead subfaction uses great numbers to achieve victory. Their Spider Tunnels building produces free spiders automatically as long as the building stands. It has only 10 hp though, and can very easily be destroyed. The Crypt Swarm also has access to the Nerubian Guard - an incredibly powerful unit.

The Wraith
This Undead subfaction uses swiftness to their advantage - having quite weak but very mobile troops. Their headquarters can unleash the Revenge of the Dead spell - very good for base defense.

Defiled Legion
This Night Elf subfaction stands for everything that is rotten and plauged. They can produce the utterly powerful plaugetanks, as well as unleash a very powerful defense spell - their headquarters can, once, summon ten Plauge Treants for 3 seconds.

Eye of the Forest
This Night Elf subfaction has no buildings - the Forest Master unit works as their headquarters. He can summon different kind of forest animals, given that the player has enough food and gold.
